ADB SAFEGATE has entered in to a global partnership with Gentrack, a leader in Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM), to focus jointly on the efficacy of future airport community collaboration. Combined systems will provide strategical and tactical decision making and operational support that can lead to important efficiency gains for both the airport and airlines. The two companies will put up a joint showcase at the upcoming inter airport Europe 2017.

Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) aims at improving the overall efficiency of airport operations by optimizing the use of resources and improving predictability of events. It focuses especially on aircraft turn-around and in and outbound sequencing processes, enabling sharing of previously siloed real-time data from all airport partners to create an aggregated and accurate overview of operational activities.

The combined systems will provide strategical and tactical decision making and operational support to deliver important efficiency gains for both the airport and airlines. Increased efficiency supports better on-time performance which, in turn, will improve the passenger experience. The vast amount of data handled in the systems will also provide data analytic capabilities to strengthen long-term strategical processes and procedures at the airport.

ADB SAFEGATE partners with Gentrack to deploy A-CDM and integrated solutions

At inter airport Europe 2017, the two companies will demonstrate how, by combining realtime data between systems from ADB SAFEGATE and Gentrack, airports can achieve complete coverage of the airside operation cycle.

Gentrack’s Airport 20/20 A-CDM solution has embedded predictive intelligence capability that not only ensures aggregation of real time data feeds, but also accurate forecast of key operational indices to support full status tracking for each flight. Scheduled, estimated target and actual off block times are displayed, as are calculated and actual take-off and landing times, with continuous real time updates and recalculations displayed. Over 80 airports around the world already use Gentrack’s airport solutions that have helped them to run efficient operations and support rapid growth.

Since the introduction of the Airport 20/20 ACDM solution in one of Australia’s busiest airports, there has been a 23% decrease in congestion at the apron of international arrivals and a subsequent 8% increase in such flight movements.

ADB SAFEGATE partners with Gentrack to complete its Airport Performance strategy which involves closely integrating tower, airfield and gate systems so that all parts of an airport work together from approach to departure.
