Tom Duffy, from the ADB Safegate Americas’ team has been elected to serve on the Airports Council International World Business Partners Advisory Board. His term began on July 1 and runs through the end of 2018.

The Airports Council International (ACI) airport membership consists of over 1,853 airports in 173 countries. ACI’s World Business Partners (WBP) program provides a platform for businesses to interact with the airport industry to build a global network of airport executives and decision makers and a mechanism whereby these businesses can assist airports worldwide in meeting their objectives.

As a Board member, Tom will have the opportunity to represent World Business Partner interests and help formulate and articulate the collective World Business Partner “voice” to ACI and the aviation industry and help create new opportunities for ADB Safegate and other World Business Partners.

During his 16 years at ADB Safegate, and prior to that, Tom has been an active participant in industry trade organizations as a means to strengthen our company’s position in the aviation industry and share our industry expertise.  His participation has also given him a keen understanding of the issues facing our airport customers and their customers, as well.

Tom has served on and chaired the ACI-NA Associates Board, has sat on various ACI committees including a current seat on the ACI World Safety Technology Standing Committee and attended meetings, conferences and other networking events.  Tom is also active with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the Airports Consultants Council where he served on the Board.
