AAAE Conference & Exposition in Philadelphia, PA.

Safegate Airport Systems and Liberty Airport Systems represented Safegate Group at the 87th Annual AAAE Conference & Exposition, June 7-10, 2015, in Philadelphia, PA.
The AAAE Conference & Exposition is one of North America’s largest annual airport events, gathering more than 2,000 airport executives and business partners representing more than 250 airports.

The event features a three-day exposition with more than 150 companies showcasing the latest technologies and emerging trends.Educational sessions feature interactive discussions led by subject matter experts on critical topics affecting our industry today. Safegate Group’s Frederick Roe moderated the High-tech and high performance: Best Practices in Ramp and Apron Operations session that discussed new technology, innovative programs and industry best practices used in promoting ramp and apron safety. The speaker panel included a representative from the Port of Seattle which operates the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The Port has been a Safedock Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System customer since 2004 and is currently expanding its use of the Safedock system to improve ramp safety.

Safegate Airport Systems has attended the conference for many years, but 2015 was the first year exhibiting together as one company with Liberty Airport Systems.  Discussions and demonstrations focused on Safegate Group’s complete range of integrated intelligent solutions for the airfield, tower and gate that work together seamlessly to optimize safety, efficiency and performance.

Safegate Group solutions were well received by industry professionals, specifically the stakeholders of North America’s largest hub airports and design consultants. It was recognized by all that Safegate Group is not simply a supplier of airfield lighting or visual docking guidance systems,  but rather a partner to this industry bringing technology solutions to increase efficiency, safety and overall airport capacity without the expense or wait of adding runways, taxiways, gates or other associated capital improvements. Safegate Group offers simple solutions to complex problems that can be implemented immediately.
