MILAN. ADB SAFEGATE works with SEA Milan Airports to improve performance at the apron area at Linate and Malpensa airports. We´re happy to be providing equipment and software packages to provide faster gate turns, reduced delays, accurate TOBT updates, less congestion and increased productivity and cost-efficiencies, hence supporting the process which helps the much needed Airport Collaborative Decision Making processes (ACDM).
At Linate Airport, ADB SAFEGATE has just completed, safely and within the agreed project plan, the installation, commissioning, and start-up of five new Safedock Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (A-VDGS). The ADB SAFEGATE team will now progress to another crucial phase of this important innovation project at Milan City Airport, by providing equipment and software packages to deploy a SafeControl Apron Management System (SAM).
To provide an unprecedented situational awareness to all the airport stakeholders involved in the aircraft turnaround, including airlines and ground handlers, our “big eye” on the apron will help the airport monitor apron operations in real time. By tracking and streamlining the aircraft turnaround processes, airport and airline performance is enhanced through faster gate turns, reduced delays, accurate TOBT updates, less congestion and increased productivity and cost-efficiencies, hence supporting the process which helps the much needed Airport Collaborative Decision Mmaking processes (ACDM).
At Malpensa, in the meantime, we are ready to begin an exciting new phase of our overall Frame Agreement with SEA Milan Airports, which will see ADB SAFEGATE delivering, installing and commissioning 11 new Safedock A-VDGS and extending the airport’s existing SafeControl Apron Management system to the Third Pier of Terminal 1.
ADB SAFEGATE provides integrated solutions that raise efficiency, improve safety, boost environmental sustainability and reduce operational costs for airports, airlines and ANSPs.
