Traditionally an owner/operator of an airport network would have installed a stand-alone Airport Operations Systems (AOS) at each and every airport to enable effective and efficient flight turnaround operations. That is now in the past. A truly multi-airport capable AOS means that multiple airports throughout an entire network of stations can all be managed from a single multi-airport AOS deployment, and elevate the entire airport operations ecosystem.

Riyadh Airport Company (RAC), which operates King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh, has collaborated with ADB SAFEGATE to launch a next-generation airport management platform at KKIA. The platform will enable RAC to take full control of operations at KKIA by facilitating proactive and data-driven decision-making, improving planning, disruption management and utilization of airport assets and resources.
PRESS RELEASE. ADB SAFEGATE has been chosen to deploy its airfield and gate systems at the new Red Sea International Airport, including energy efficient airfield lights, its market-leading Individual Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ILCMS) and Safedock T1 Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS). Equipment deployment and capability has been selected to easily integrate with future systems, to support the Red Sea International Airport’s future expansion plans from CAT II initial-operations towards CAT III. The project reflects the airport’s vision to use scalable technology to enable a seamless landing experience while aligning with sustainability goals.

Maintenance personnel at McCarran International Airport (LAS) no longer put pen to paper when they log maintenance performed on runway lights. Instead, a digital asset management system uses GPS technology to track the work performed and pushes the information to a cloud-based platform to enhance the accuracy of maintenance records. Munich Airport’s New Apron Module C 02.5, located south east of the airport area, provides 21 new stands. The project was completed in March 2021, with opening for full operation in April 2021. PRESS RELEASE. A new concourse at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport includes ADB SAFEGATE’s gate solutions delivered by AERO BridgeWorks. The 14-gate concourse is a key element of the airport’s Project Journey construction program. The new gates are operated by American Airlines and feature ADB SAFEGATE’s Safedock Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) and SafeControl Apron Management. With this automated system, pilots can park aircraft precisely and safely, even in adverse weather conditions.
