ADB SAFEGATE’ challenged the airport industry to see low current airfield lighting systems as key to unlocking operational value and performance, not just a power-saving technology at the recent Airfield Pavements and Lighting Forum in Sydney, Australia. ADB SAFEGATE’s Australian office was pleased to contribute to this event at one of the Australian Airport Association’s (AAA) annual forums.
The 15th edition of Airport Show 2015 took place May 10-12 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The show is the largest annual airport exhibition in the world with over 250 companies exhibiting and representatives from all over the world.
The Airport Show at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) is one of the world’s largest annual airport events, and is expected to gather 7,000 aviation professionals this year at the 15th edition. 275 exhibitors from 40 different countries will meet to showcase the latest technologies and emerging trends. The three-day event is a platform for networking with key decision-makers, and getting first-hand knowledge about the US$100 billion regional airport expansion and modernization programs.
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport recently completed an airfield electrical rehabilitation. These works included replacement of in-ground infrastructure, cable and airfield lighting, as well as improvements and reconfiguration of the airfield light control and monitoring system (ALCMS). Estonian Air Navigation Services (EANS) have chosen to continue their close cooperation with ADB SAFEGATE. The upcoming project will expand on their tower solutions with the installment of the DMAN Departure Management Solution, part of the SafeControl ATM Suite.
