Christian Onselaere
Chairman, ADB SAFEGATE
Christian is chairman of ADB SAFEGATE, a world leader for advanced solutions for aircraft guidance on the ground. With more than 30 years of international experience in the telecommunication and airport industries, he has held leadership positions in general management, sales and marketing, project management and R&D.
Prior to assuming his role at ADB SAFEGATE, Christian was Head of ADB, an aircraft guidance solutions provider, with over 500 employees and annual sales revenue of 190 million Euro. In 2005, Christian served as the Executive Vice-President of Siemens in Thailand and before that, as the Managing Director of Siemens Réseaux Informatique et Telecommunications in France. He was also responsible for a team that set up and managed Siemens’ Information and Communication Networks (ICN) R&D Centre for Communication Software in Bangalore, India, in 1994. He began his career in 1985 as a Software Development Engineer with Siemens in Belgium. Over the years, Christian worked in different divisions at Siemens across locations including Belgium, Germany, Taiwan, India, France and Thailand.
Christian holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Electronics Engineering from the University of Gent in Belgium.
