ADB SAFEGATE’s Adam Levy challenged the airport industry to see low current airfield lighting systems as key to unlocking operational value and performance, not just a power-saving technology at the recent Airfield Pavements and Lighting Forum in Sydney, Australia. ADB SAFEGATE’s Australian office was pleased to contribute to this event at one of the Australian Airport Association’s (AAA) annual forums.
The 15th edition of Airport Show 2015 took place May 10-12 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The show is the largest annual airport exhibition in the world with over 250 companies exhibiting and representatives from all over the world.
The Airport Show at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) is one of the world’s largest annual airport events, and is expected to gather 7,000 aviation professionals this year at the 15th edition. 275 exhibitors from 40 different countries will meet to showcase the latest technologies and emerging trends. The three-day event is a platform for networking with key decision-makers, and getting first-hand knowledge about the US$100 billion regional airport expansion and modernization programs.
ORLANDO, USA. Safegate Groups’s director of New Technologies, Ola Håkansson, spoke at the annual IESALC Fall Conference 2014 in Orlando. Focusing on future expectations and requirements pertaining to airfield lighting systems and their design, Ola gave an industry update in support of the concept of “The Intelligent Airfield”.
For two days the airport industry came together in Malmo, Sweden, at ADB SAFEGATE Airport Industry Seminar 2014. This was the 6th time ADB SAFEGATE arranged this airport industry event and the theme for the year was efficiency and cooperation. Per-Olof Hammarlund points out the importance of the industry to come together and meet, share their experiences and knowledge and, of course, have a good time with existing and new business colleagues.
