In an industry survey done to examine top priority needs of airports regarding lighting installations, airports said that energy efficiency and product size were most important. At inter airport Europe 2017, ADB SAFEGATE is showing its full range of an ultra-compact Power HF solution, which is 33% smaller and 30% more efficient than conventional power systems. Goma International Airport (GOM) in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a strategic airport used by MONUSCO, a United Nations mission for peacekeeping in the region.
