PRESS RELEASE. Hamburg Airport is optimizing its apron infrastructure to improve operational efficiency. The airport, has once again, selected ADB SAFEGATE to supply and install its Safedock T1 Advanced Visual Docking Guidance Systems (A-VDGS) and extend the SafeControl Apron Management (SAM) system. This setup will help the airport to improve predictability, minimize turnaround time, and reduce delays.

The Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) has made unbelievable progress in the 20 years since it started operations. Today, it is one of the busiest international hubs of mainland China, ranking 9th in terms of passenger traffic globally. The airport is one of the pioneer airports in China to use ADB SAFEGATE Solutions’ technologies. ADB SAFEGATE will introduce a brand new integrated management solution at the French airports Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and ORLY (ORY). As a component of the A-CDM process, new apron management systems and docking systems will be implemented at both airports with a potential of up to 450 units, maintained and supported to enhance airport throughput, tackle congestion, optimize airport transit process efficiency and strengthen the Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) process and the predictability for the Network Manager at these airports.
