ADB SAFEGATE with Intelligent Apron at Passenger Terminal Expo

EVENT. Conference sessions at PTE address airport and airline business-critical issues and solutions, providing innovative ideas and progressive thinking for future development and proven measures for maintaining passenger satisfaction – all key to the industry’s future success. On Day 1 at 16:20 Ilya Burkin and Pritpal Roopra will present the Intelligent Apron.

Be sure to visit ADB SAFEGATE in stand 1218 at Passenger Terminal EXPO & CONFERENCE and also attend the conference session under the Management and Operations, Airside track, Day 1, March 14 at 16:20, where Pritpal Roopra from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and ADB SAFEGATE´s Ilya Burkin will be talking about the Intelligent Apron.

ADB SAFEGATE recently participated in a proof-of-concept for the Intelligent Apron at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The digitization trial was part of the American Association of Airport Executive’s (AAAE) Airport Consortium on Customer Trust (ACT) Program, and brought together video AI, apron systems, and other connected technologies to optimize operations, improve safety, and enhance the passenger experience. Passenger Terminal Expo, Management and Operations, Airside track

Day 1: Tuesday, March 14 at 16:20

Airlines and airports have collaboratively and continuously improved operations on the apron by advancing technology and procedures. These improvements focus on safety, capacity and efficiency.

The next big gains will be achieved during apron operations as aircraft approach and depart from the gate.

In order to achieve this vision, a scalable plan for providing elasticity is required. The volatility of the many individual activities that support safe aircraft docking and management at the gate/stand can only be addressed with highly visible and well-developed tools that are sufficiently flexible and elastic.

What the audience will learn

  • Importance of apron operations in overall airport performance and passenger satisfaction
  • Role of technologies in digitalizing apron operations
  • Fast and efficient aircraft turnaround management using AI and predictive technologies
  • Bringing predictability and proactivity in apron operations
  • Real-time cost and revenue monitoring on the apron
