Safegate and AviBit tower operations

Today is the “International Day of the Air Traffic Controller”, but at ADB SAFEGATE, we celebrate ATC every day. Our integrated tower solutions aim to make daily life at work easier for ATCOs. Air traffic controllers are keeping an eye on each and every aircraft movement across the airfield and local aerodrome, keeping 3.5 billion passengers safe in the sky.

The International Day of the Air Traffic Controller, celebrated October 20th each year,  marks the anniversary of IFATCA (International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers’ Associations), which was founded on the 20th October 1961. The day also celebrates all the men and women around the world who work to help make air travel the safest possible mode of transport. Last year we were 3.5 billion passengers that actually put our security and our “life in the sky” in their hands.

Equipment and systems introduced over the years have helped improve efficiency and contributed to a safe-and-sound ATC system, but the individual controller has always been the key element in the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible ATC network we have today. Controllers are the most flexible and adaptable element of the system, readily able to grow with continually evolving procedures, changing technical systems, and social and environmental constraints.

ADB SAFEGATE provides solutions to ANSPs and airports around the world to increase efficiency, safety and sustainability and strive to make the daily life of air traffic control easier. Our systems can take on non-critical tasks and provide the controller with operational support throughout the workflow.

Today is the International International Day of Air Traffic Controllers, but we celebrate ATC every day. Thank you for keeping us safe.
