VIDEO. Fundamental to Airfield 4.0 is the addition of built-in sensors to airfield lights and other assets, coupled with the right-sized communication medium and the ability to wirelessly stream telemetry and status monitoring to the cloud. AXON EQ sensing lights are integrated with our newly released LINC 360, a high-bandwidth two-way communication system that facilitates predictive airfield operations.
The data generated by the fixtures will be streamed to the cloud via our innovative LINC Node gateway. With data from the cloud, airports can check the status of assets on multiple devices in real-time to support immediate decision-making. These smart lights also flag maintenance and service needs and provide a higher level of control under challenging conditions like low visibility.
