Dense fog and low visibilty has challenged the second largest civil airport in Pakistan for years. To solve the problem, Safegate Group and Lahore Allama Iqbal International Airport work together in an Airport Traffic Expansion project in order to weather proof the airport. The first phase of the project was completed in November before time shedule. We went Lahore to ask representatives from the airport, the Civil Aviation and the Safegate team about what the project means to the airport, the city and the passengers.
