🔹 Who are you and what is your role at ADB SAFEGATE?
– I’m Canadian but have been working and living abroad since the beginning of my career, mainly in Europe and Asia. I am now leading three different teams at ADB SAFEGATE, our Service Business Line, Group Transformation Team as well as our newly formed Product Development Project Management Group.
🔹 What does the Transformation Team do?
– The Transformation Team helps identify key areas of improvement across the Group. We work together with functional leaders and working teams to develop action plans to deliver on those opportunities. We also try to act as catalyst to fast-track key initiatives. The team is currently focused on an ERP migration as well as improving the way we serve our customers globally.
🔹 What does leadership mean to you?
– For me, a good leader is someone with a clear vision who is able to lead change within an organization to realize that vision. It is about inspiring and empowering people while leading by example. I try to create a positive workplace where transparency and accountability is key.
🔹 What milestones / goals would you like to reach in the future? Does the COVID situation affect your future vision?
– I joined ADB SAFEGATE for the opportunity to develop myself in a new role and new industry with a global industry leader. The COVID situation has and will unfortunately continue to impact our business, but our company has made tremendous efforts to get us through this difficult time and we have actually used it as an opportunity to review and optimize the way we deliver products and services to our customers. I am confident that we will come out stronger and ready to capture new opportunities in the future.
