ADB SAFEGATE names Peter Matton Chief Operating Officer

Today ADB SAFEGATE can announce that Peter Matton, previously from Rotork Fluid Systems has been appointed its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He replaces outgoing COO, Steve Rutland, a company veteran who has played a key role in steering the company to its current position as a world leader in aviation. We thank Steve for the tremendous job he has done and at the same time we welcome Peter who brings with him 30 years of operations and general management experience in complex technical environments.


As COO, Peter will oversee all ADB SAFEGATE global operational entities across Research & Development, Services, Supply Chain Management and Production. Peter will work with the company’s leadership team to drive ADB SAFEGATE’s evolution as a leading provider of integrated airport solutions for the gate, airfield, tower, services and advanced analytics.

Peter brings strong international experience across key functions – operations, supply chain and sales & marketing. Peter Matton, Chief Operating Officer at ADB SAFEGATEPrior to ADB SAFEGATE, Peter was the Divisional Managing Director at Rotork Fluid Systems, and has held leadership roles in management and sales & marketing with IMI Norgren, LMS International, ABB and M-Products across diverse locations including Switzerland, Denmark, UK and Belgium. Peter has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering & Electricity.
