I have a background in IT with a BSc in computer science and systems architecture, and a wide range of experience within the airport domain from systems engineering to project management, as well as from a commercial angle. Altogether this led me into the Product Management department. My mix of technical and operational understanding allows me to see operational limitations and gaps in supporting systems, matching it to future solutions to positively affect efficiency and revenue. I have a firm belief that the digital transformation of airports and analytics will emphasize some of the major challenges, like silo thinking, transparency and the need for a holistic approach to manage the three flows at an airport – passenger, aircraft, and baggage.
