INNOVATION. ADB SAFEGATE’s AiPRON Connect consumes and normalizes data from fixed and mobile ground support equipment, making it available to other Intelligent AiPRON applications for operational decision making, turnaround management, trending and technical monitoring of all equipment, as well as evaluation of KPIs.
The apron and gate areas are populated with systems, equipment and technology owned by various stakeholders and, in many cases, never designed to work and collaborate with each other. A common problem is when aircraft arrive at their assigned gate and the equipment or personnel aren’t ready or capable of receiving and servicing the aircraft leading to delays, missed connections, unnecessary fuel burn and increased wait time for passengers and crews.
Connecting these systems to a common communication platform can provide unprecedented visibility into the apron operation, enabling automation and ensuring equipment is prepared and available for incoming aircraft. Enhancing integration and data sharing increases safety, efficiency and productivity to shorten turnaround times and reduce operational costs.
“Without sensors and connectivity, there is no data. Without data there is no presentation and situational awareness, and without digitization, there is no analytics, augmented intelligence and automation.”
ADB SAFEGATE’s AiPRON Connect is a data broker for all equipment used to service an aircraft. It integrates ground service equipment (GSE) such as passenger boarding bridges, pre-conditioned air, ground power units, flood lighting and many others to schedule and monitor their usage in real time, while collecting data for operational analysis and aeronautical billing. Unlike most asset management tools, the focus is on actual use and performance of GSE on the day of operations to facilitate an efficient turnaround process.
AiPRON Connect is part of ADB SAFEGATE’s Intelligent AiPRON suite of software solutions bringing a holistic, intelligent and sustainable approach to apron management. The Intelligent AiPRON portfolio includes five add-on modules, AiPRON 360, AiPRON Manager, AiPRON Resource, AiPRON Connect and AiPRON Finance.
Visit us at Passenger Terminal Expo 2023 in Amsterdam, March 14-16, where live demonstrations of AiPRON Connect and the Intelligent AiPRON will be available in stand #1218.
