Birmingham Airport has chosen ADB SAFEGATE, to install its Integrated Tower Solution to enable A-CDM and improve real-time information shared between airport stakeholders ─ airlines, ground handlers and air traffic control. Greater predictability is only one of the expected outcomes.
How do solutions for more efficient airports go hand in hand with sustainability? At the Swedish Pavilion at inter airport China, ADB Safegate’s Guan Peng recently presented the company’s perspective on sustainable airports, taking the audience through some of the key aspects of our solutions across the tower, gate and airfield that reduce carbon footprint.
ADB SAFEGATE will introduce a brand new integrated management solution at the French airports Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and ORLY (ORY). As a component of the A-CDM process, new apron management systems and docking systems will be implemented at both airports with a potential of up to 450 units, maintained and supported to enhance airport throughput, tackle congestion, optimize airport transit process efficiency and strengthen the Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) process and the predictability for the Network Manager at these airports.
Austria‘s biggest ever airshow, AIRPOWER, held from September 2-3, saw participation from around 240 aircraft from 20 countries in the varied static and flying displays. With over 300,000 visitors gathering for the enthralling airshow, the flight tower orchestrated the show supported by tower solutions from ADB Safegate.

With China’s aviation industry growing rapidly, the potential impact on the environment is also increasing. While the boom brings challenges such as congestion, delays and pollution, it also comes with an opportunity for China to take advantage of the most innovative technologies available, rather than simply trying to expand existing infrastructure.
Do you think the turnaround process could be faster, while still maintaining the highest level of safety? Can your airport handle more aircraft? Ask ADB Safegate Group and the answer will be yes. Modern apron management solutions and advanced visual docking guidance system are both vital to speed up turnaround efficiency and decrease the risk of delay – a gain for airport stakeholders as well as for the passengers.
Experts predict that air travel will double by the mid-2030s. It’s boosting our economies, creating access to opportunities in local, national and international markets, and fueling adventure like never before. But it’s also impacting our planet. How can airports balance the growing global demand for air travel with the impact our operations have on climate, the health and well-being of our eco-systems, and all aspects of sustainability?
