WEBINAR. ADB SAFEGATE has co-hosted a live webinar with Atech that addresses the operational challenges for all stakeholders on airside navigation, airside operations and A-CDM for airports, airlines and air navigation service providers (ANSPs). At ADB SAFEGATE we are happy to share the recording of the webinar. Watch it.
Recently Ground Support Worldwide published an article written by Josh Smith about how ADB SAFEGATE´s SafeControl Management System uses real-time intelligence to optimize operations on the ramp. In a data-driven world, more information provides opportunities to be efficient. ADB SAFEGATE is helping deliver key information to ground personel while keeping them connected with airport and airline officials for improved operations on the ramp.
INTER AIRPORT. ADB SAFEGATE’s concept of operational elasticity on the apron perfectly describes the multidimensional challenge today’s reality places on all stakeholders involved in the aircraft turnaround. The SafeControl Apron Management (SAM) system with its new architecture now offers a more flexible and adaptable system, both in terms of interfacing capabilities and the additional users who will benefit.
Automation and data analysis applied to flight and resource planning can empower small and medium airports to leverage proportionate benefits and returns. It will require a shift in the way small and medium airports manage and allocate flight planning and resources, but will ultimately generate more returns and cost savings, and allow both airports and airlines to enhance the passenger experience. In a joint webinar on November 3, ADB SAFEGATE and ATECH ATC experts will be addressing the operational challenges for all stakeholders on airside navigation, airside operations and A-CDM for airports, airlines and air navigation service providers (ANSPs). Register for one of the two live webinar sessions and make sure to stay up to date and benefit from our ATC-experts´ knowledge and guidance. We hope to see you in one of the two sessions.
Two aviation innovators are combining technologies to revolutionize both sides of airport ground operations: at the gate, and on the aircraft. Working together under a recently concluded Memorandum of Understanding, the companies’ respective systems will greatly enhance safety and throughput at airport gates. Continue reading
PRODUCT LAUNCH. ADB SAFEGATE is pleased to announce the launch of its newly redesigned LED Runway End Identification Light (REIL) which is used to provide a visual indication to pilots of the runway threshold during an approach. The company has reduced the size of the flash head for styles A and E to a common PAR56 size flash head with only 12 LEDs, while maintaining industry-leading photometric quality.
TOTAL AIRPORT SOLUTIONS. Advanced analytics is a proven capability across many industries, and more and more airports are seeing its potential to transform operations. At many airports, A-CDM built on top of an airport’s AODB, has been hugely successful, enabling stakeholders to collect data from a single source of truth and work together to improve airside operations. What if advanced data analytics was applied to the huge amounts of data residing in the AODB?
The Port of Seattle chose airside construction expert, AERO BridgeWorks, to implement a state-of-the-art Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System and apron management solution on 72 gates at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The project specified Safedock A-VDGS from airport performance leader, ADB SAFEGATE. Continue reading
