The second edition of our Corporate Social Responsibility Report, released recently, reveals what ADB SAFEGATE is doing to make our company, our industry, and our world a better place. From solutions that reduce aviation’s environmental impact, and initiatives to make business operations more sustainable, from striving to do business with integrity, promoting workplace diversity and inclusion, and community projects, we’re strengthening our corporate citizenship efforts.
The most important global event in the airport industry’s calendar is only two weeks away – inter airport Europe 2019. ADB SAFEGATE is preparing for this event with a series of world premieres that help raise the bar on airport performance. Visit us on stand 1320, Hall A5 at inter airport Europe in Munich, 8 to 11 October.
TRAINING ACADEMY. ADB SAFEGATE’s Training Academy in the U.S. launched its newly redesigned airfield lighting maintenance seminar. In addition to content changes, including more hands-on training, the seminar now has an interactive format with an engaging aviation motif. “Passengers” received airline tickets that allowed them to “board” the Training Academy plane, which was piloted by Captain Dustin Blackstone and Flight Attendant Mandi Fulk, training team members, who dressed the part to get everyone “on board.”
CSR. The aviation industry has contributed immensely to trends that have reshaped our world and our society – making global travel easier and faster, connecting people, business and communities. The downside to this: the industry’s carbon footprint and impact on the environment. This is where we see ourselves being able to make the biggest difference. Corporate social responsibility is thus intrinsic to ADB SAFEGATE’s business philosophy. Our Corporate Social Responsibility Charter reflects our vision, mission and corporate values, and underscores our commitment to be a responsible global corporate citizen.
